Robert Walser, a North Carolina native, is a plumbing contractor by trade and a professional bass angler by choice. In his nearly 25 years of professional status, he has over 25 career wins and more $750,000 in career earnings in several different tournament series. He has been featured in sports sections of the top published newpapers and fishing magazines in the country, as well as on the internet. He has national television exposure on networks such as ESPN, ESPN2, Fox Sports Net, and the OLN Network. He has also received local network television exposure such as Fox 8 and WFMY News 2. He is currently considered one of the top anglers in the sport and is fishing on the FLW Tour, revered as the most prestigious and most competitive circuit in the country.
 
In 2006, he was crowned the Wal-Mart BFL All-American champion in Hartford, Connecticut. More than 33,000 anglers fished for a spot on this 48 angler field held annually. To qualify, anglers must finish in the top six anglers in their region in points standings. Robert has fished the BFL All-American five times, three consecutively. Most anglers hope to qualify for it once.
